Mission Critical Broadband (MCX)

Currently, mission-critical organizations use trunking systems such as Tetra, Tetrapol, DMR, etc. that primarily transmit audio between different users.

They are very robust, resilient, and secure systems, but work with narrowband, making video transmission from the field impossible.

Within the specifications for LTE and 5G, 3GPP is leading the standardization and evolution of MCX, which includes, among others, broadband capabilities for such PTT (Push To Talk) communications, i.e., the ability to transmit video over these networks.

Nuuk is working with industry leaders in MCX to incorporate an MCX Gateway into our platform to work with video and data from these devices, which will soon be available to mission-critical organizations.

We use public AI models applied to specific use cases and under the most demanding conditions. Our focus is on providing specific use cases applied to each vertical and situation, training the models with real data.
